What is the OMBS Membership Year?

The Membership Year for the Old Mill Boathouse Society is September 1 through October 31.
When are membership fees due?

Club membership rosters will be required upon notice from the Board, which will be issued on Sept. 1 each year. Member clubs must submit their current membership roster (member names only) for the membership year ending Oct. 31, no later than Sept. 15. Following receipt of the rosters, the Treasurer will issue membership invoices based on the number of members reported. Payment is due no later than Oct. 31.
What are the membership fees?

Current membership fees are $15 per adult and $7.50 per minor (under 19).
2026 Fee Adjustment: By Board resolution dated June 7, 2026, membership fees for the season ending Oct. 31, 2026, are $7.50 per adult member and free for members under 19 years of age.

Under the Old Mill Boathouse Society’s Commercial General Liability policy, coverage for a new member does not depend on when OMBS receives their name. Coverage begins once the individual becomes a member of a club that is recognized under OMBS, meaning they have enrolled with the club and are included on that club’s official membership roster.
Providing updated membership lists to OMBS is important for record-keeping and underwriting purposes. Members are insured but only with respect to the conduct of OMBS business operations.
