Old Mill Boat House - Rebuilding History for the Future !

An Exciting Opportunity !

The Old Mill Boat House , being developed at Rocky Point Park, in Port Moody, BC, will provide a home base for many groups participating in 'water based' activities in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.

The facility will serve thousands of children, students, young adults and adults as they enjoy healthy and educational outdoor recreation activities on the waters of Burrard Inlet.

The current sailing, rowing, and sea-cadets programs have experienced un-precedented growth over the past several years, and the Old Mill Boat House will help to improve both the capacity and the quality of the programs being offered to the community.

Partial funding for the facility is being assisted by all levels of government, including the City of Port Moody, the Government of British Columbia and the Government of Canada - however, additional funding is still required for the completion of this truly first class facility.

The Port Moody Rowing, Sailing and Paddling Centre Society (BC Non-Profit society registration: S-42077) has been established , to work in conjunction with the Port Moody Foundation, to obtain additional support and funding from the local community.

This includes local businesses and individual members of the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas. We encourage and look forward to contributions from all members of the community, and please remember, in addition to being a tremendous benefit to the community, your donations are also tax deductible.
